Five days. Two countries. Two of Africa’s most celebrated destinations. This is the package that first-time visitors to southern Africa consistently describe as the perfect introduction, combining the drama of Victoria Falls with the wildlife intensity of Chobe National Park in a single guided, fully-organised itinerary.

You arrive in Victoria Falls, spend two full days experiencing everything the falls and town have to offer, cross into Zambia for the Livingstone experience, then head to Chobe for a full-day game drive in Botswana before flying home.

Your 5-Day Itinerary

Day 1, Arrival & Zambezi Dinner Cruise

Hotel pickup from Victoria Falls Airport and transfer to Shearwater Village (included accommodation). The evening opens with a Zambezi Sunset Dinner Cruise, three hours on the river, dinner served on board, open bar, and the Zambezi’s extraordinary wildlife at its most active as the sun sets.

Day 2, Victoria Falls Zimbabwe Side + Boma Dinner

A full day dedicated to the Zimbabwe experience.

Morning: Victoria Falls Guided Tour
A licensed local guide takes you through all 16 viewpoints on the Zimbabwe side. From Cataract View to Danger Point, from the Main Falls panorama to the boiling pot at the gorge bottom, your guide explains the geology, history, and cultural significance of Mosi-oa-Tunya in full. Allow 2–3 hours. You will get wet from March to August.

Midday: Vulture Feeding + Makuwakuwa Lunch
Drive to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for the daily vulture feeding, one of the most dramatic wildlife experiences in Victoria Falls, with dozens of vultures descending in an explosion of wings to feed in a clearing overlooked by the lodge deck. Lunch at Makuwakuwa Restaurant follows, with excellent game-viewing from the terrace.

Afternoon: Short Helicopter Flight
A 13-minute “Flight of Angels” helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, the full aerial perspective, with a window seat guaranteed for every passenger. The best view of the falls you will get.

Evening: Boma Dinner & Drum Show
Traditional African buffet, interactive drumming and dancing, Sangoma storytelling, and the option for fortune telling with a local diviner. One of Victoria Falls’ finest evenings. Transfers to/from your hotel included.

Day 3, Victoria Falls Zambia Side + Livingstone

Cross into Zambia for a completely different perspective on the falls and a cultural day in Livingstone.

Falls Tour, Zambia Side
The Zambia side of the falls offers a different angle on the curtain of water, and during low water months (August–January) gives access to Livingstone Island and Devil’s Pool. Your guide covers the best Zambian viewpoints and explains what you’re seeing differently from the Zimbabwe side.

Livingstone Museum
The oldest museum in Zambia and one of the most significant in the region, home to David Livingstone memorabilia, pre-colonial history, and the story of the Zambezi peoples. Allow an hour.

Market
Livingstone’s colourful main market, local fabric, craft, woodwork, and food. A genuine rather than tourist experience.

Optional afternoon activities (not included in tour price):

  • Devil’s Pool on Livingstone Island ($130–175/person, seasonal Aug–Jan)
  • Rhino Tracking ($160+/person)
  • Lion Walk ($160+/person)

Evening: Return to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Boma Dinner included.

Day 4, Chobe Full Day Trip

The wildlife centrepiece of the package. Pickup from your hotel at 7:00am for the 70km drive to the Kasungula border into Botswana. Your guide handles all border formalities.

Chobe National Park, Full Day:

  • Morning 3-hour game drive in open 4×4 safari vehicle
  • Buffet lunch at Cresta Mowana Lodge
  • Afternoon river cruise on the Chobe River

Return to your Victoria Falls hotel by approximately 6:00pm.
