Unforgettable Victoria Falls Experience
After searching many sites to try to put together a visit to Victoria Falls that included visiting the falls and doing a safari in Chobe NP, I became frustrated and finally found Maxwell Tours. From the beginning Max was great to work with. He listened to all of my wants and put together an incredible package that exceeded our expectations. Not only did we visit Victoria Falls & Chobe NP, but we also enjoyed a helicopter tour over the falls, a wonderful sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi River and so much more…from the airport pickup and drop off by Phillip, we were cared for like family. Thank you Max & Phillip for making our trip to Victoria Falls unforgettable.

Although we had seen the animals in zoos, seeing them in their natural habitat was amazing. Please preserve these havens
It was an amazing experience! We felt very looked after and safe even though the lions were 5ft away from us. Our guide was very informative, not just about the animals but the birds and botany. He impressed us by reading the landscape and explaining what had been happening in the park recently and how the countryside was changing. He provided an excellent lunch and seemingly limitless supplies of water and fizzy drinks. At the end of the day, he stayed with us to make sure we found our taxi for the return trip to our hotel.

Siamo tornati anche a settembre, dopo il soggiorno di luglio, e confermo con piacere quanto già scritto nella mia precedente recensione. La struttura si conferma ottima: ben tenuta, sempre ordinata e pulita. Gli appartamenti sono belli, in posizione comoda e vicina a tutto. Molto comodo il parcheggio privato, così come l’utilizzo gratuito delle biciclette e il servizio spiaggia incluso. I proprietari si sono dimostrati, ancora una volta, presenti e disponibili. Awesome Relaxing Game Drive at Hwange National Park
Excellent day out. We did a day trip from Victoria Falls. Much more relaxed game drive from Simba our guide rather than the rush of other game drives in Chobe and Etosha. Phillip drove us down and back from Victoria Falls was also excellent. We spent 7 hours driving around thew park

Good way to spend a day - Hwange safari
I understand that wildlife is totally unpredictable. So while there are lions and leopards and cheetahs we weren’t able to see one . The guide did go all out to locate them . Cannot fault him for trying . The 3 hour drive from Victoria falls is tiring . There are plenty of birds to see - blue waxbill , scarlet shrike , Mayers parrot , arrow breasted babbler and many more

Breathtaking! We had the most lovely young lady as a guide in Botswana, I hate that I didn't write her name down. She was absolutely fearless in the bush truck, and made sure we got to see a cheetah, the last of the big five on our list. The trip over to Impala Island was interesting and eye opening. The sunset on the river cruise was absolutely breathtaking, and definitely another highlight. Everyone we came in contact with was super friendly and appeared to be glad to help. Definitely recommend this adventure if you're in the area.

This was an excellent and informative experience. My family and I visited a homestead in a small village near Vic Falls. They described their typical day, lifestyle and how they are balancing their traditional culture with today’s world. Also they showed us how they are being innovative on alternative energy and girls’ education projects. Highly recommended!

Fascinating eye-opener to life in Zimbabwe
Our visit to the village of Monde was a fascinating eye-opener to life in Zimbabwe. Only 15 minutes away by car, Monde feels like another world compared with the tourism bubble of Vic Falls. We had a fascinating hour or so with the head of a family homestead who explained aspects of farming life, the culture of the local ethnic groups and how the cow manure biogas system works. Then we visited a school where the kids were lovely but the resources were sorely lacking. Tip: buy groceries to take as gifts (your guide can advise) and be prepared to be asked for a cash donation to the school. Also consider taking clothes you may no longer need - it will help the local people and lighten your bags for the journey home!
