LESS TO CARRY, MORE TO ENJOY

Pack thoughtfully.
Travel comfortably.

Pack for the journey you have chosen: early safari starts, city discoveries, quiet afternoons at your lodge or a walk through the spray at Victoria Falls. Choose versatile pieces that work together, with a few essentials close at hand.

Use this as a starting point, then adjust it to your travel dates, chosen stays and booked activities.

Start with your itinerary.

Before choosing
your suitcase.

Small-aircraft sectors may have different limits from your international flight. A soft-sided bag may be required, and cabin items or camera equipment may count towards a combined allowance.

Use the weight, dimensions and bag requirements supplied for your actual booking. Ask us about any uncertain sector before you pack.

THE SMALLER DETAILS

A little more preparation.

What should I bring to Victoria Falls?

Pack shoes with good grip and protect your phone, camera and documents from spray. Ask about expected conditions and whether rainwear is included in your booked tour. Follow your operator’s guidance for river activities and scenic flights.

How should I pack batteries and power banks?

Carry power banks and spare lithium batteries in hand baggage, with terminals protected against short circuits. Check your airline’s current capacity, quantity and onboard-use rules before flying. If your cabin bag is taken for the hold, remove these items first. Read IATA battery guidance.

Which adapters and chargers will I need?

Confirm the socket types at each stay and check that your devices support the local voltage. A plug adapter changes the connection, not the voltage. Bring the chargers you need and ask about charging facilities at remote camps.

Can I rely on laundry and lodge amenities?

Ask which stays provide laundry, how long it takes, what it costs and whether any items are excluded. Confirm toiletries, hairdryers and other amenities before leaving them at home. Services vary between properties.
