Victoria Falls Guided Tour
Your driver-guide signs you into the Victoria Falls National Park and accompanies you to the main viewpoints on the Zimbabwe side. The Zimbabwe side offers the broadest panoramic view of the full 1,708-metre width of the falls. You’ll see the main falls viewpoint, the boiling pot at the gorge bottom, and the Victoria Falls Bridge, linking Zimbabwe and Zambia, from above.
Important: The guided tour of the falls themselves is an additional cost, not included in the base price. Your driver-guide will arrange this for you at the gate (approximately $58/adult for park entry). This is the standard arrangement for this type of day trip.
The Craft Market
Victoria Falls’ traditional craft market is one of the best places in Zimbabwe to buy authentic handmade items directly from the craftspeople who make them. Carved wooden animals, woven baskets, beaded jewellery, fabric, and stone carvings, all created locally, all negotiable. Your guide can help with negotiation if needed and advise on fair prices.
The Big Baobab Tree
A short stop on the return journey to visit one of the region’s landmark baobab trees, an ancient, enormous specimen with significant local cultural and historical significance. Your guide shares the history and folklore associated with these iconic African trees.
The Border Drive, Wildlife Corridor
The drive between Kasane and the Zimbabwe border passes through an unfenced wildlife corridor where elephant, buffalo, giraffe, and lion are regularly spotted from the vehicle. This is part of the KAZA Transfrontier Park, one of the world’s largest conservation areas, and wildlife moves freely across the region. Your driver knows the good spots and will stop for any notable sightings.

Minimum 2 passengers required. If staying at a Namibian hotel on Impalila Island, a boat transfer to the Kasane immigration office is required, your hotel can arrange this.
What Do I Need for the Border Crossing?
- Valid passport (minimum 6 months remaining validity)
- Zimbabwe visa, most nationalities can purchase on arrival ($50 single entry). The KAZA Univisa ($50) covers both Zimbabwe and Zambia if you plan to visit both.
- Children under 18: birth certificate required at all KAZA border crossings
Your driver handles all border logistics, just have your documents ready and follow their guidance at the immigration counters.

Yes, if you want to add a helicopter flight, sunset cruise, bungee jump, or other activity, let us know when booking and we can extend your time in Victoria Falls and adjust the return time accordingly.
Comfortable walking shoes and light, quick-dry clothing. You will likely get wet at the falls viewpoints, especially May through August, so quick-dry fabric is practical. Bring a hat and sunscreen.
